Hutchinson Zoo offering summer camps

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Sign up your child for camp at the Hutchinson Zoo before May 15 in order to get them a camp t-shirt! Camp t-shirts are a great way to keep a memory from their week at camp.

This year, every week of camp will have a different theme! Themes will be posted when registration for camps goes online.

KinderCamp

June 10th-14th: Wildlife Wonders

July 8th-12th: Food Frenzy

Students entering PreK/Kindergarten Fall 24 (must be at least 4 years old and potty trained)

9:00 a.m. to noon

$75 ($65 for members)

1st and 2nd Grades

June 24th-28th: Habitat Helpers

July 22nd-26th: Pollinator Protectors

Students entering 1st-2nd grades Fall 24

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

$95 ($85 for members)

3rd through 5th Grades

June 17th-21st: Research Rangers

July 15th-19th: Junior Zookeepers

Students entering 3rd-5th grades Fall 24

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

$95 ($85 for members)

6th through 8th Grades

June 3rd-7th: Zookeeper for a Week

Students entering 6th-8th grades Fall 24

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

$95 ($85 for members)

Crepuscular Club (Optional Add On):

Sign your child up for a little extra time at the zoo before and after camp. During this extended session, staff will supervise campers and offer free play opportunities, an additional snack, and self-paced nature-themed activities.

Available for students entering 1st grade and up for an additional $40 per camper from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and/or 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. during camp weeks.
