HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas State Fair Board will have a full agenda Tuesday, May 7.
Included are updates from the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation from James Fisher and Mary McCurry, information on an expansion of Carrie's Beer Garden, a Vehicle Safety Mitigation Plan for Gates 1 and 3, an update on the Grand Drive, presentations from three potential State Fair Entertainment buyers, an update from BowerComm on Marketing for the Fair, approval of alcohol sales for the race events and summer pop ups on the Fairgrounds, a racing update from Phil Nightingale and information on the Summer of Fun Calendar of events.
The Board will meet in person at 10 a.m in the Kansas State Fair Administration Office Board Room at 2000 North Poplar Street, or on Zoom. The meeting should last most of the day.
