Hutchinson USD 308 and Buhler USD 313 will provide meals starting June 4 at six locations around the city. Times and locations are: HMS-7 and the Hutchinson Library from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.; Faris Elementary and the Boys and Girls Club from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. and at the Avenue A and Fairgrounds splash parks from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Meals are free to children under 18 and are also available to adults for $3.60. The program runs through July 27.
In Nickerson and South Hutchinson, USD 309 will provide breakfast and lunch for all children under 18 Monday through Thursday starting May 29.
Meals will be provided at Nickerson High School from 7:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. for breakfast and from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for lunch. South Hutchinson Elementary will provide lunch only from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
The district will also provide free bus transportation for those wanting to eat lunch at the South Hutchinson locations. Pick up locations will be the Reno Valley Middle School at 10:45 a.m.; Legacy Bible Church at 11 a.m.; 4th and Cloverdale at 11:10 a.m. and the Apollo Apartments at 5th and Washington at 11:20 a.m.
