HUTCHINSON, Kan. —&nbsp;Beginning Wednesday, April 17th, Public Works will be performing maintenance on a leaking water line valve in the intersection of West 9th Avenue and North Monroe. Water will be shut down at the locations listed below starting at 4:00 p.m. and is expected to last for approximately 3 hours while the valve is being replaced.

Water will be out on 9th from Monroe to Harrison and on Monroe from 8th to 10th.

As a result of the valve replacement, N Monroe will be closed between 8th &amp; 10th Ave, and W 9th Ave will be closed between Madison and Jackson.&nbsp;

9th and Madison will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon for excavation and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for valve replacement.
