HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Prepare yourself for a day-long celebration at the 2024 Kansas State Fair on Sunday, September 8th, highlighted by the captivating performance of La Alianza Norteña. The "Tardeada" kicks off at 3:00 p.m. with an array of music and festivities, continuing well into the evening, culminating in the electrifying performance by La Alianza Norteña, scheduled to take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
Kicking off the festivities are the vibrant Raices de mi Tierra Folklore Dancers, whose dynamic performances celebrate Mexican heritage and culture. Following them will be Mariachi Los Reyes, led by founder Pete Chavez, who is known for enchanting audiences with their authentic mariachi music, showcasing over 40 years of musical tradition.
The afternoon continues with DJ Oscar Garcia, known as DJ OG, bringing his versatile talent in both English and Spanish music to the stage.
Next get ready to dance with Grupo Los de Chiwas, a regional Mexican group known for their Campirano musical style. Emerging in 2020, they've quickly gained popularity with hits like "Cholos de a Mentiras" and "La Mera Vena."
And finally, La Alianza Norteña, led by Gabriel Trevizo and Marco "Kina" Solis, will close out the evening with their unforgettable norteño music experience. Hailing from Tutuaca, Chihuahua, La Alianza Norteña brings a unique blend of passion, talent, and 100% Chihuahuan style music that is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 10 at KansasStateFair.com. Anyone signed up for Kansas State Fair emails can get access to tickets with a presale code, starting 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 9.

New in 2024 – Expanded Standing Area:
The Kansas State Fair is pleased to unveil an improvement to the Grandstand that promises to enhance the overall event experience for attendees. This year, the stage will be repositioned to create space for an extended party pit in the lower track area. This expansion not only boosts overall capacity but also provides more concert enthusiasts the chance to enjoy the excitement up close.

Reserved seating in the Grandstand is $20.
Track Party Pit
Get up close to the stage! The Track Party Pit area offers concert attendees the chance to be right in front of the stage, with ample space to dance and sing along. Each ticket is $25.
VIP Deck – Standing
Want the ultimate VIP treatment? This ticket package grants you access to the spacious VIP Deck area, perfect for dancing the night away, as well as the exclusive happy hour featuring two complimentary beverages and appetizers from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Each VIP Standing ticket is $55.

Get all your friends together with the VIP experience! Reserve a table for six on our VIP Deck, that is perfect for dancing the night away. In addition to a reserved table for six, this package also includes the exclusive happy hour featuring two complimentary beverages and appetizers from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Each VIP Reserved Table is $360.
