DICKINSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Friday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Junction City Police and Chapman Police were in pursuit of a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Jordan David Rhynes, 28, Fort RIley, on Rain Road near 2900 Avenue just south of Kansas 18.
The motorcycle struck a Chapman Police Department 2020 Dodge Durango driven by James Samuel Reynolds, 45, Chapman.
EMS transported Rhynes to Stormont Vail in Junction City. Reynolds was not injured. The KHP did release what prompted the chase.
