WYANDOTTE COUNTY —A 'Kansas resident' recently showed up at the Kansas City, Kansas Police department requesting a ride-along, according to a social media post from police.
"We were considering it, until he asked if he could hang his head out the window and honk at cars."
The Department reminded residents "if you would like to participate in a ride-along, as well as some other cool activities designed to increase your knowledge of the KCKPD, we suggest you apply today for our free Citizens Academy."
