HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson/Reno County Legislative Forum is set to convene on Saturday, April 20th, offering residents an invaluable opportunity to hear directly from their elected representatives. Hosted at the Stringer Fine Arts, located at 600 E. 11th Avenue, the forum will run from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

This event serves as a platform for community members to ask questions and gain insight into legislative initiatives directly impacting Hutchinson and Reno County. Legislators invited to participate include Senator Mark Steffen, Representative Paul Waggoner, Representative Jason Probst, Representative Michael Murphy, and Representative Joe Seiwert.

"We encourage all residents of Hutchinson and Reno County to join us for this important event," stated Debra Teufel, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber President/CEO. "This forum provides a unique opportunity for dialogue between our community and those elected to represent us in Topeka."

To ensure a comprehensive discussion, questions for the legislators may be submitted in advance to [email protected]. Attendees are encouraged to submit queries on topics ranging from education and healthcare to infrastructure and economic development.

Don't miss this chance to engage directly with your elected officials and hear about all that is happening at the state house in the final days of this year’s legislative session.
