HARVEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4 p.m. Thursday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Freightliner truck driven by Cody R. Andrews, 60, Wichita, was exiting the Kwik Shop parking lot at 515 East Dean Street in Burrton.
The truck struck a legally parked 2019 Nissan Versa driven by Shawn M. Smith, 36, Moundridge. After the collision, the truck left the scene.
EMS transported Smith to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Andrews was not injured. The KHP did not have seat belt usage detail or additional information.
