HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The USD 308 Community Meeting at Morgan Elementary is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. This is the final meeting in a series of over 20 community meetings in the past three weeks.
The Facilities Steering Committee of Hutchinson Public Schools has been meeting since January 2023 to determine district facility priorities.
Community input is invaluable in the following steps as the committee develops a District Facilities Plan that meets the current and future needs and desires of the USD 308 community.
Tuesday's session will include a presentation of committee findings, analysis of the current facilities status, identified areas for improvement, and concepts to develop a comprehensive District Facilities Plan that aligns with the District’s objectives.
Information gathered from the committee findings and community meetings will be presented to the USD 308 Board of Education in May along with a comprehensive District Facilities Plan.
The session is free to attend and open to the public. The District is still surveying parents, community members and staff online at www.usd308.com/communitymeetings.
