HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson citywide cleanup event is Saturday and Sunday April 27 and 28.
The city will be placing dumpsters at 14 locations around the city so residents can dispose of unwanted items.
As before, there is a limit to what can be placed in the dumpsters.
"A few items, we want to make sure nobody is putting in, because of regulations with the landfill," said Cecil Weible with the City of Hutchinson. "Make sure we don't have any mattresses, tires, lots of tree limbs and yard debris and then household chemicals and large metal containers, refrigerators, appliances, other stuff like that. City staff will be on site throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, helping with the dumpsters. We'll have a couple loaders running around and some staff helping people put bigger items into the dumpsters."
Stutzman's Refuse will also be taking and replacing dumpsters throughout the event.
