According to the Kansas Highway Patrol twenty-seven year old Carlos Perez-Gonzalez of Dodge City was driving a 2005 Ford Expedition westbound on H road, 5 miles south of Jetmore. The vehicle came to the top of a hill traveling too fast for road conditions. The driver lost control and the vehicle started to skid from ditch to ditch. The vehicle rolled 4 times coming to rest on the drivers side facing southeast in a field on south side of the highway. A passenger in the vehicle Manuel Perez-Gonzalez age 33 of Dodge City was not wearing a seat belt. He died at the scene of accident.
The driver, Carlos Perez-Gonzalez was transported to the Hodgeman County Health Center and then flown to a hospital in Wichita. Two other passengers in the vehicle Jamie Cancino age 35 of Dodge City and Cristobal J Juandiego age 32 of Ford were transported to the hospital in Jetmore. Only Juandiego was wearing a seat belt.ew
