An 83-year-old Mullinville man was taken to a Wichita Hospital after he crashed his vehicle near Arlington Tuesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Charles Neelly was southbound on K-61 when he struck the right side of a guard rail. His Ford Expedition then traveled across the northbound lanes of the highway and went through a bridge railing and into a river.
He was initially taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, then later transported by ambulance to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
The accident occurred just after 5 p-m, about 3-miles north of Arlington.
