Hutch Man Arrested For Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Assault In Domestic Case

A Hutchinson man managed to post a 50-thousand dollar bond after his arrest in a domestic case where he allegedly battered his girlfriend and allegedly threatened her with a knife.

Miguel Angel Molina is charged with aggravated battery-domestic violence and aggravated assault-domestic violence.

The victim in the case suffered some severe bruising and cuts and scratches as a result of the altercation early Thursday morning. Hutchinson Police Detective Tyson Meyers telling us that the victim may have also been threatened with a knife. This occurring at the Cluster Apartments at 23rd & Lorraine

The original charges were misdemeanors, but as the investigation continued, it became clear to law enforcement that felony charges would be more appropriate.

He should be back in court next Wednesday for the formal reading of charges once the state files a formal complaint.
