Kuhn-Krause in Hutchinson is set to celebrate the completion of their 70 thousand square foot building expansion project. They’ve scheduled a ribbon cutting event for Tuesday afternoon, October, at 4:30 p.m.
Officials with the company say the expansion will improve manufacturing capacity, efficiency and quality with new, state-of-the-art technology and use of lean manufacturing strategies.
They say this expansion complements other investments made last year. The total cost of this construction project, along with related new machinery procurement scheduled for this year will be approximately $5.0 million.
Kuhn-Krause currently employs over 300 people at its Hutchinson facility in the 300 block of South Monroe.
