A 28-year-old Hutchinson man made a first appearance in District Court Thursday morning on drug related charges.
Arthur Adams of 608 East F is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package, and no drug tax stamp.
According to the arrest report, a search warrant was served on his home late Wednesday afternoon and they allegedly found a zip-lock bag of marijuana in the suspects sweatshirt, a small bag of methamphetamine, found on the floor near where he was sitting and packaging materials also right beside him.
His bond in the case set at 11-thousand dollars and Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen denied a request to reduce it.
Adams will be back in court next week for a status hearing.
He has a previous conviction for drugs in a case going back to 2007.
